About Us

From an Edmonton Garage to Cricketers Across Canada

Five years ago, Alberta Cricket Store began the same way so many Canadian cricket stories do — with a love for the game, and a garage.

When we started in 2021, finding good cricket gear in Alberta was not easy. Players often had to order from overseas, wait weeks, and hope the bat that arrived was the one they actually wanted. We believed Canadian cricketers deserved better — real gear, honest advice, and prices that made sense.

So we started small: a garage, a small stock of bats, and a simple promise — treat every player like a teammate. Word spread the way it always does in cricket, from player to player and club to club. What began as selling a few bats to local players slowly grew into a community of cricketers who trusted us for quality gear and personal service.

As the community grew, so did we. Our online store took Alberta Cricket Store across Canada, and today we ship premium cricket gear to players in every province — and to customers in the United States as well.

The biggest step in our journey was moving from the garage into our own retail home in Edmonton. Today, you will find us at 8705 53 Ave NW, Edmonton — a two-floor cricket destination:

Second Floor — Alberta Cricket Store (Retail): One of Canada's widest selections of cricket bats, pads, gloves, helmets, footwear, kit bags and accessories, from the world's leading brands — SS-TON, SG, DSC, GM, CA, Gray-Nicolls, Kookaburra, MRF, MB, EM, Laver & Wood and more. Come in, pick up a bat, feel the balance, and get honest advice before you buy.

Ground Floor — ACS Indoor Cricket Facility & Academy: Our indoor facility means cricket in Edmonton does not stop for winter. Players can book lanes for practice all year round, and our academy helps young and adult cricketers build their game with structured training.

From a garage to a full retail store and indoor academy — what has not changed is the promise we started with: quality gear, fair prices, and service from people who genuinely love this game. We also support clubs, leagues and schools with wholesale enquiries, and we are always happy to help a new player choose their very first bat.

Thank you to every customer, club and family who has been part of this journey. The story is still being written — and we would love for you to be part of its next chapter.
